On February 10, 2025, BYD held the BYD Intelligence Strategy Conference themed 'Heavenly Eye Ushers in an Era of Smart Driving for All' in Shenzhen. At this conference, BYD announced its smart driving strategy for the masses, stating that all BYD vehicle models will be equipped with advanced intelligent driving technologies, achieving full coverage of advanced intelligent driving.

BYD has divided its 'Heavenly Eye' intelligent driving system into three major versions: Heavenly Eye A, Heavenly Eye B, and Heavenly Eye C. Among them, Heavenly Eye A is mainly applied to the Yangwang brand, Heavenly Eye B is mainly used in the Denza brand and BYD brand, and Heavenly Eye C will be installed on BYD brand vehicles. The 'Heavenly Eye C' intelligent driving solution features a globally unique 'front triple-eye' design: 12V consists of 3 front triple-eye cameras (2 wide-angle cameras and 1 telephoto camera), 5 surround-view cameras, and 4 panoramic cameras; 5R refers to 5 millimeter-wave radars; and 12U represents 12 ultrasonic radars.

Designed for highways and urban expressways, the High-Speed and Expressway Navigation on Autopilot (HNOA) of the 'Heavenly Eye C' intelligent driving system can, following the navigation-planned route, complete driving tasks such as entering/exit ramps, lane keeping, cruise driving, autonomous lane changing, and avoiding/evading some obstacles. Additionally, the Automated Valet Parking (AVP) function can integrate with actual parking habits and scenarios to realize functions like getting out of the car and leaving immediately, locking the car and parking it, retrieving items at any time, and immediate use.
